room to grow

More Space. More Stories. More Lives Changed.

Creating space for what God is already doing at Wabash Park Camp & Retreat Center.

With nearly 50% of the project already funded and every dollar up to $1.5 million is matched through Lilly Endowment, now is the opportunity to help make room for more lives changed.

Creating Space

for What God is Already Doing

Because what God is doing here deserves more room.

For generations, Wabash Park Camp & Retreat Center has been a place where children, students, families, and churches step away from distractions, build meaningful relationships, and hear the whisper of God in ways that shape their faith, identity, and calling.

Today, more people want to experience Wabash Park than the current facilities can comfortably support.

Through the Room to Grow Capital Campaign, Wabash Park is creating space to welcome more guests, serve more groups, and continue the life-changing ministry already happening here.

And thanks to a generous partnership with Lilly Endowment, every dollar given toward the first $1.5 million raised will be matched dollar for dollar.

making room for more.

This campaign is not about building something brand new. It's about making room for more of what God is already doing.
Over the past several years, Wabash Park has experienced growing momentum:
  • More churches looking for retreat space
  • More campers attending youth camps
  • More families reconnecting at camp
  • More groups searching for meaningful space away from the noise of everyday life

Lives are being changed here.
Families are reconnecting.
Leaders are finding renewal.
Churches are growing stronger together.
People are hearing the whisper of God in quiet moments that shape them for years to come.

But with limited lodging and gathering space, Wabash Park is increasingly being forced to turn groups away.

Room to Grow exists to help remove that barrier.

Why

More Space Matters

Every year, people come to Wabash Park searching for something deeper.

Students come looking for belonging and purpose, families come needing time to reconnect, church groups come hoping to step away from distractions and encounter God together.

And every year, lives are changed here.

Students surrender their lives to Christ.
Leaders discover renewed calling.
Friendships are formed.
Relationships are restored.
People experience moments that shape them for years to come.

But in recent years, we've increasingly faced a difficult reality:
Groups are being turned away simply because there is not enough space.

Not because the ministry opportunity isn’t there.
Not because people aren’t coming.
But because capacity has become the barrier.

Room to Grow exists to help remove that barrier and create space for more people to experience the life-changing ministry already happening at Wabash Park.

building space for more ministry.

The Room to Grow campaign represents a $3.5 million vision for the future of Wabash Park.
Thanks to generous partnership through Lilly Endowment, nearly 50% of the project has already been funded.

Through Phase I and Phase II, Lilly Endowment funds of more than $1 million went into strengthening the ministry and infrastructure of Wabash Park.

Now, through the Phase III matching capital campaign, we're raising the remaining funds needed to complete the next major phase of growth.
The first $1.5 million raised will be matched dollar for dollar through Lilly Endowment.

That means every gift helps make twice the impact.

New

Youth Lodge

At the center of the campaign is a brand-new youth lodge designed to help Wabash Park welcome more groups and expand its year-round ministry opportunities.

The new lodge will include:
  • 150 beds
  • flexible lodging space
  • gathering and meeting areas
  • ADA accessibility
  • year-round capability
  • welcome and registration space
  • offices and support areas
  • expanded utility and laundry space
This is more than a building.

It is more space for students who need to hear the Gospel.
More room for retreats where relationships are restored.
More opportunities for churches and families to gather, worship, and grow together.
